As always when launching a new edition, all is of course not up yet, but there is a brand new edition of Vikings of Midgård sitting at the main webadress www.vikingsofmidgard.com
This webadress, which has been our home for about two years, is to be shut down eventually. Time to say goodbye, really, as the new site has set the aims in a little different way than the previous versions that were mainly aimed at World of Warcraft.
Important is that there are new forums. The forums are currently being tested, set up and organized and there is a very small team involved. The plan is to make parts of it public and some closed for members. In which shape and form I will come back about later. Pop me an email at

It has been a long time since I was writing here at VoM.com, busy irl, helping organizing the guild besides working on the next VoM website and doing missions in game. It has been busy, no doubts about it. Last fall of 2007 was very exciting with the Vikings pressing on in three different worlds along with betatesting coming MMO releases. As Nyte already has reported, her and myself headed out in Guild Wars. 
For the first time, Nyte and I stepped back in time as we basically headed out in a 3 year old MMO. I am just going to write about some of my impressions and about some plans of the future that are in the makings as well. |

Well as everyone knows Christmas celebrations are in all online games. Today started the beginning of Guild Wars 12 days of Christmas celebrations. Along with all kinds of Christmas goodies, special quests and snowball fights, they have decorated 4 of the major cities in the game. I though I would share some pictures of some of it, so I ran around to all 4 cities and took some screenshots. All these cities have been turning into winter with snow and ice and decorations.
